Starting and running a successful business is no easy feat. So, it’s not surprising that online courses (and specifically those that help people navigate the crazy world of entrepreneurship) have recently exploded in popularity.
With a ton of great courses out there, it can be tough to know which learning opportunities are actually the right fit.
And let’s be honest, if you’re in the market for something to help you solve a specific problem in your business, the last thing you need is overwhelm when it comes to determining which course will work for you.
I’ve trusted online courses to help me overcome big challenges and take Jess Creatives to entirely new and exciting levels. Through my experience, I’ve discovered the three important considerations you should make in picking a course that’s right for you.
Check out my three tips in this video:
Here are my personal favorite online courses, plus how they’ve helped me in my business:
Stress Less & Impress with Leah of the Freelance to Freedom Project (aff link) — This was the first course I ever took and it’s a game-changer. It helped me implement systems and processes in my business, so now I can get out of my inbox and spend more time doing what matters.
List Surge with Melyssa Griffin — I’d done a decent job building my list but was ready to take things to the next level with some specific training. This course gave me the strategies to start seeing big results from my list-building efforts.
F*ck Yeah Funnels with Mariah Coz — When I finally got tired of trying to create funnels that I’d cobbled together based on advice from a bunch of different blog posts, I gave this course a shot and finally got the step-by-step guide and templates I needed to set up effective list-building funnels. This course was especially helpful as I prepare to launch my own course!
Pintastic Profit Plan with Summer Tannerhauser (aff link) — As a designer, I knew how powerful Pinterest could be for my business, but I’d just been making half-hearted attempts at using it to drive traffic. When I finally decided to invest in the course, it was so worth it. I got the steps to success in a broken down, digestible format — plus, the accountability I needed to start implementing what I learned and see incredible results.
Small Business Bodyguard with Rachel Rodgers (aff link) — As a service-based business owner, contracts big deal. I searched and searched but couldn’t find any good contract templates that worked for me. So, I invested in this course and finally figured out my legal needs.
