How do you get YouTube sponsors when you don’t have a huge channel? In this video, I’m sharing how I got my first YouTube sponsor when I had LESS than 1k subscribers to my channel.

The first thing you need to do is think of any products or services that your ideal clients use or are interested in using. You want to make sure that promoting this product would make sense alongside your content, too.

Then, go ahead and make a video about this product or service that either mentions them, or shows your audience a little bit about the product. After that, you’ll be ready to approach the brand you already mentioned.

When you pitch the company, make sure that you showcase your audience (combine all online audiences/followers), and mention that you use this product, and have already done a video about it before.

When it comes to charging the sponsor, I calculated how long it would take me to create, edit, and promote the video, and used my hourly charge (even though I don’t actually charge hourly). Most importantly, since there is an exchange of money, MAKE SURE you have a contract in place!
