SocialBee is a platform that allows users to share evergreen content across multiple social profiles. If you want a new tool for social media management, check it out: https://socialbee.grsm.io/jessicafreeman4784 (aff. link)
Some of my favorite features:
– Categories will help you organize your posts and also have a better mix of content.
– Posting options allow you to schedule posts to only specific platforms, expire posts, or pause certain categories.
They also have analytics and reports, and tools to let you do customer research!
It’s been a while since I’ve done a tech review or shared something that I use my business, so I figured it was time. And today, I want to share a tool that I use for social media scheduling. If you’re new here, my name is Jess and I create videos for business owners like you to help you save time and look it online. And today, I want to share one of my favorite tools, Social B, and there are a lot of social media scheduling tools out there, Hootsuite buffer, others, but social B is different. And I want to explain why.
Now first, I know a lot of people are gonna ask, okay, what platforms does it work with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google My Business Have you have a Google business page for your business, which is usually just in person, like physical business locations, but I know some online entrepreneurs also have a Google business page. Now the reason that I love social B is because instead of having to go in every week, or every two weeks and write up a bunch of posts and schedule those out, it constantly recycles my content.
And I will say Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn are not my primary platforms. So I’m fine with just recycling content on there, especially because the posts are always seen. I mean, you know, tweets disappear in like a second. So my primary purpose is just having a presence on those platforms, not necessarily to be my main avenue of marketing. I don’t use it for Instagram, I use plan only if I’m going to schedule posts, but most of the time, I don’t even schedule my Instagram posts, and I use tailwind for Pinterest.
And I have links to both of those tools down below as well. So how does social be work? First, you set up a schedule for each platform. So you can say every Tuesday at 8am, I want to tweet. And every Thursday at 10:35am. I want to tweet, you can set your schedule for Twitter and Facebook and LinkedIn and whatever platforms you decide to use. But you also choose a category for each time. So that’s the other half of social B is you have a library of content. And you categorize it. Just like a library has different sections of nonfiction, fiction, romance, etc.
You have categories of your content. For me, that’s videos, blog, post podcast, I have a one I have a category for affiliate links, I have a category for other people’s content. So if I want to like tweet, or share friends posts and stuff like that, you can create as many categories as you want. So again, Tuesday 8am, I want to tweet a video Thursday 1030. I want to post something from the affiliates category.
You choose the times the days and the categories of your schedule, then you have this library of content, and it just constantly recycles. So since I have hundreds of videos, hundreds of blog posts, a bunch of things I’m an affiliate for, I have a huge library, I think it’s like 500 some posts in my library. So in the video category, it will start at number one, and it will say okay, so every Tuesday we’re tweeting a video. Well, once I get through all the videos, I’m going to go go down the list.
Once I get to the bottom, then I’ll start back at the top again. So it’s not tweeting the same three videos every, every few weeks. It has a long list to go through. And of course, I can always be adding more content. So every time I create a new video, every time I have a new podcast or if I become an affiliate for something or I find something new that I want to share more often, I just add it into the library and they can import from your RSS feed.
So if you’re blogging, you don’t actually have to go add your blog post, you can just have it import, though you do want to probably customize the caption. Now I know this kind of setup might not work for everyone but for me, I love it because again, these platforms are not a primary focus for me, but I want to have some kind of presence there. And it’s very affordable and it’s just a huge time saver for me and my business. I do have an affiliate link down below if you want to check out social media.
If you have questions. Let me know in the comments. If you enjoyed this video, be sure and give it a thumbs up and I will see y’all next time.
