And today I have the case study to prove it. If you’re new here, my name is Jess. And this channel is all about helping you run a more smooth and more profitable online business with the help of your website. Because otherwise, what’s the point of having a website and today like I said, I have a case study for you.

One of my clients, the sleepy head coach, she is her her team are a sleep coach for parents of toddlers and babies. And we redid their website completely in May 2001. And so I wanted to give you an inside scoop of what we did what it looked like before and the results that she’s gotten. So let’s dive in.

This is the homepage on her old website, we’re going to walk through the old website first. So this website was built on Wix, she did it herself. The copy is all herself everything she did herself, the homepage really what I first looked at it, it’s too generic, it’s too basic doesn’t have enough information.

And I really felt like the site as a whole left that professional polish with fonts, colors, layout, and really images. Because I mean, who doesn’t want cute babies and toddlers on their website, and really felt like we needed to help bring things together and tie them together more.

But then I really want to show you next her services page. So this is her old services page, she still actually she had set up her packages to be purchased through the website, like you buy it directly through the website instead of doing invoices.

And like I said, she still does that on her current site. But the way it was set up here, all of the things were together toddlers and infants. So she didn’t separate these things. In there was no actual sales page for the services. It was just here’s what you can buy.

Here are our packages, there’s no actual information there. She’s not connecting with her potential clients. There are no testimonials like it’s missing a lot of these critical pieces that belong on a sales page. So really, overall, the site needed polishing, it needed to be warmer and inviting.

It felt like it needed a little bit more color doesn’t have to be a bright color. Adding color doesn’t mean there has to be bold, bright colors. But it really needed to feel more welcoming, because as parents, I would that when you are trying to find coaches or professionals to help you and your child, it’s a really big risk, you are looking for someone that you can really, really trust.

And so a website is going to help communicate that trust based on the pictures and the copy. And yes, even the color these night might not be like very conscious things that we’re thinking about.

You might not go to a website and be like, this shade of blue is weird, or like these pictures don’t really aren’t building that trust, but I’m sure you’ve been to people’s websites and you’re like, is this person real? Like these all feel like stock photos.

And it just feels very generic and I don’t know who I’m hiring and you don’t know if you actually want to hire them. So we wanted to change all that for the new website. So this is her new homepage. First thing we did is make that headline much more clear on the banner but also really resonate with her ideal clients pain points, because that’s really gonna pull people in instead of like, Oh, look how great I am on this what I can do but like, what are they struggling with?

Because people are desperate. They’re searching They want answers, they want help. When they land on your website, they immediately want to feel like yes, this is working for. And that’s what we put at the top of her homepage.

We also highlighted some press to help give her a little bit of credibility, a little intro to them highlighted their offers, and then highlighted again, that they help infants and toddlers kind of separating, differentiating so people can click and see, oh, I have an infant, or oh, I have a toddler that can be really beneficial, and then highlighted a testimonial as well, just to reinforce more credibility.

Then we separated out infants and toddlers onto different sales pages, because this sales copy is going to be different, it might be similar, but it’s going to be different. Also, the pictures can be different, the testimonials will be different.

And that way, we’re not overwhelming people with too many packages on one page that they needed, they need to choose between. So sales page, just helping connect again, with those ideal clients, we have some testimonials.

And then we actually highlighted, you know what’s included in each package, that was a huge missing piece on the old website, it was just here’s the package, there was no detail in terms of what’s included and all that kind of information.

So that’s what we did. And we also included also the digital downloads on this page, not just the services. So really a one stop shop for the infant parents and the toddler here. I didn’t show up before of this on the old website, because we didn’t have one.

But we set up a Must Haves page on this new website, like a resources page. I love when business owners add this to your websites because it helps you look at your resource for your potential clients. And it can help you get some affiliate income as well.

So that was one thing that we set up on this page, nothing fancy. And that’s totally okay. It’s really just making it easy to sort through or scan through and look at, okay, what am I looking for.

And especially if you are on social media, and you’re often talking about these products or making recommendations for your followers, it’s easy to say, Oh, look, I you know, list out options on our resources page, or whatever you call it.

Okay, so here’s the really fun part. Now that you’ve seen the before and after the results that we got from this new website 33% of their average monthly sales within one week of launching the new website. That’s amazing.

And then fast forward to a few weeks later in June, because again, we launched this in May 2021. Fast forward to June thoroughly one week into June and already reached their average monthly sales. And then I checked in with her a few months after that.

They doubled their revenue from three months after the launch based on the previous three months before they got the new website. And that’s the only thing they changed. Literally the only thing they changed. They didn’t launch a new service. They didn’t like start posting on Instagram. They just launched the new website.

Now I do want to point out, they are active on social media. So your website is part of your marketing machine. It’s part of your marketing system. They were active on social media. So I don’t want to make this sound like it was strictly just the website.

And there wasn’t also email and social media as part of the strategy. But again, they were already doing these other things before the website launch. But having a more professional look having way better copy all that helped lead to doubling their revenue.

And she said she said numerous clients mentioned how much more they trusted the Sleepyhead coach based on just the professionalism of their website and their online presence, which in this day and age is important.

I’ll link her website below in case you want to check it out for yourself. But if you have any questions, let me know down in the comments. If you enjoyed this video, be sure and give it a thumbs up and maybe I’ll do some more case studies for you. Otherwise, I’ll see you next video.
